Collections Officer

Overview

  • We are a dynamic team of Customer Experience Specialists devoted to assisting companies in their growth journey by placing customers at the heart of every operation. WeSolveCX Collections is a dedicated team managing debt collections. Our mission is to consolidate collection processes across ATNI in order to streamline billing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ad hoc and other reports may be completed as necessary

  • Contacting customers with overdue accounts via phone, emails or mails to request payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies, disputes, or delinquencies to facilitate payment resolution.
  • Updating customer account information, payment statuses, and collection actions accurately and timely in the database.
  • Following up with customers to ensure payment commitments are honored and taking appropriate actions on delinquent accounts.
  • Documenting all collection activities and customer interactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Providing regular updates and reports on collection activities, including aging analysis, collections rates, and account statuses.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, to resolve customer issues.

Job Requirements

  • University Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum  of 2 years experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with collections software or CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with collections software or CRM systems.

  • Must be able to accommodate to reading documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal communication, written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, training others, multiple concurrent tasks, and constant interruptions.
